Welcome to the Hobo Speaks Men’s Community!
In addition to helping eachother be accountable in online income endeavors and swapping travel experiences, this community is a hub for:
- Exclusive live streams; movie nights, long-form podcasts, live chat conversations with your friendly neighborhood Hobo with a Laptop
- Connecting with like-minded people all around the globe –plan meetups wherever you’re headed next to bypass the ‘hapless tourist’ phase of visiting a location for the first time
- Discuss dating experiences in different countries, share horror stories, tips, and advice
- Open offers to collaborate with other members who create content –set up podcast interviews or outsource work with friends you make within this community
- Mike from Hobo with a Laptop was born in ’81 and has been earning passive income over the last decade+, while travelling Southeast Asia –he’s been married, had two boys, and did over $20k USD per month with his blog; ask him questions through the community or via a voicemail and he’ll answer them in a livestream
- Benefit from having a set of eyes wherever our members are, like boots on the ground and first-hand accounts of what it’s like somewhere to help you establish your own travel plans (if travel is your thing)

“I’m a Woman, Should I Join?”
“There are only two sexes, male and female”. If that triggered you, this community isn’t for you.
How men say things can also be triggering to the fragile. I’d really like to not see anyone triggered over mundane posts or common male opinions, perspectives, and experiences.
Anyone is free to join, including open minded women, but I don’t think woke feminsit pearl-clutching hyper-sensitive hall-monitoring Karen cry-bullies will fit in.
Men will be expressing their opinions and experiences about dating and travel, locker room style in many cases. Sometimes, you might see swear words, although I’d prefer if everyone kept their posts clean.
These men are your brothers.
I will not tolerate any men who verbally attack a woman specifically –but I will also not tolerate any “Karens” who harass men for speaking openly, honestly, and with good intention.
Generalisations exist. I don’t view generalisations as personal attacks. If you make a controversial generalisation –back it up, if pressed.
Squeaky wheels get the ban hammer. If making this community co-ed is a problem, I will run polls to let members decide how to proceed.
If some women choose to think this community is sexist –do an online search for the “Digital Nomad Girls” community and tell them the Hobo exiled you, err, sent you. If you join them, you just proved sexism is okay when you’re doing it. At least I’m willing to give it go, allowing women in this men’s community. Don’t spoil it.
